New DVD "DIMBULB" coming March 2012

Paul Winstanley designed the cover for our forthcoming full-length a/v collaboration "Dimbulb." You can watch the video for the first track "in the cradle of wasps" right here. The entire album will soon be available on DVD.
Now Available for Feverish Honeymooners everywhere...

As portions of this recording were made by the Huckster & Spiritualist Milo Gurmungst in 1873, we strongly recommend listening to this album in a meditative state in a quiet dark room (or your special place, whatever comes first, we're really not that picky).
_______
Double Dunce is a long-running electro-acoustic music collaboration featuring Paul Winstanley (bass synth, noises, processing, mix) and John Kennedy (video, percussion, location recordings, synths, processing, mix).
"We seem to complete an album every 7 or 8 years (we started out mailing DATs back n forth between NYC & New Zealand). “Goggles for Tantra” (completed in 2002) was our first and “Dimbulb” (2011) is our second." - JK
Paul Winstanley also runs the excellent experimental music label Eden Gully featuring lots of his cool projects like Sci Hi (feedback improvs), Zombie Cheeses (super fun cut-ups!), and Joe Pineapple (bass squigglin’).
And we'd be jerks if we didn't recommend Paul's amazing band Audible 3, a New Zealand based improvising electronic trio featuring PW (turntable, fx processor, electric bass), Marc Chesterman (sampler), and a drum machine genius percussion guy named John Kennedy (this JK is a Kiwi, no relation). We love these guys! Their eponymous debut “audible 3” is one of our favorite all-time albums.
and here's a taste of "Goggles for Tantra"
i tried to explain that my flanger pedal wasn't working proper, but, ah... what the hell...
