John Alan Kennedy is a musician, composer & multimedia artist.  Born and raised in Texas, he spent the last 15 years in NYC and abroad,   performing in the U.S., Europe, and Africa--improvising with drums, percussion, found objects and electronics.  He's also composed music and created sound design for film, dance and theatre.

He has been the recipient of a Geraldine R. Dodge Foundation composer/performer fellowship, and has a B.A. in Art Therapy.

Currently, he's focused on releasing recordings from his extensive archive, recording his upcoming acoustic guitar album "Cut N Shoot Radio", manipulating feedback, and tweaking videos for Double Dunce.
